We are a friendly, caring church whose aim is to serve and honour God as we lovingly minister to one another and the community around us. Our services are a blend of modern and traditional styles of worship. We see the Bible as the inspired word of God and the basis for Christian living. We have a real sense of expectation that God will speak to us Sunday by Sunday, that He will minister to us by His Spirit and that we will continue to be transformed by His love.
At Berkhamsted Baptist Church, children are loved and valued and we strive to help them have fun as they learn about Jesus and his love for them. We have a Child Protection Policy which we enforce rigorously.
People often comment that being part of Berkhamsted Baptist Church is like being part of a big extended family. We have various mid-week activities, offering a range of styles and forums in which to learn more and enjoy fellowship together. We also enjoy getting together for various meals and social events throughout the church year.
